Publications
Witness Lee was a prolific speaker. During his 72 years of ministry he shared thousands of messages, most of which were later published in book form. From 1974 to 1994 he conducted a series of Bible study meetings in which he delivered messages over the entire Bible. His preparation for and his speaking of these 2,226 messages resulted in his two most significant publications: the Recovery Version of the Holy Bible and Life-Study.
Witness Lee assisted the Editorial Section of Living Stream Ministry in the English and Chinese translations of the Recovery Version of the Bible as well as writing all of the outlines, footnotes, charts, and references. The Recovery Version of the Bible has proven to be a tremendous source of light and nourishment to millions of the Lord's children. It has been translated into Spanish and Russian languages. Witness Lee's other major publication, Life-Study, is a comprehensive study of the entire Bible emphasizing the divine life. In addition, he published over 400 books.
